Is The United States A Good Place To Go Hang Gliding?

If you’re from the US, you might be thinking that you need to go somewhere extravagant, somewhere international to have an unforgettable hang gliding experience. But that’s just simply not true! Contrary to what many people seem to forget, the United States is arguably one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

Unlike many other countries, the United States has areas with incredibly different climates at any time of year due to its sheer size and its location in the world. This means that the weather, the views, the colors, the overall experience is incredibly different from one side of the country to the other.

In other words, the US is an absolutely amazing place to go hang gliding. The majority of my best flights have happened right here in this country, so take advantage of the hang gliding locations we have at our disposal in the US!

The views are simply breathtaking – you’ll see everything from the Pacific Ocean stretching out below you to endless miles of forested hills and mountains. And because this stretch of coast sees some of the best weather in California during spring and summer, it’s a great place to go hang gliding during those times. But honestly, you can go year-round and have a great trip!

The Grand Canyon

The Granyon Canyon is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, and for good reason. It’s an absolutely massive canyon that was carved out over millions of years by the Colorado River. And it offers some of the most incredible views you’ll ever see.
